Last week we were unable to publish a bulletin. There were several technical difficulties that contributed to this...but the bottom line is that there was no bulletin for last week. For these, on behalf of the entire Eastgate office staff, I apologize.
One of these “technical difficulties” was my article for last week’s bulletin was missing. I was (am) pretty sure I’d written an article for Wednesday and saved it on Donna’s computer before going to camp: but, alas, it was nowhere to be found.
The missing article was not the only problem, though. There were quite a few others issues that caused the bulletin to not be published. As I was trying to help out via the telephone with Donna and text messages with Monica, I had a single thought running through my head: “If I could only see what they are talking/texting about for myself, then I might be able to fix it.”
Often times the best way to solve a problem is to be able to look at it for yourself. When someone else is trying to describe what is wrong, it is difficult to comprehend the issue.
We all have “technical difficulties” in our lives. We all face problems, trials, tribulations and we all struggle to find solutions. We may even look for help from others, but, unless they’ve actually been in our situation, it is hard for them to understand.
But there is one who has been there. There is one who has seen it all. There is one who knows exactly what you are going through. Jesus.
Hebrews 4:15 tells us: “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weakness, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin.”
Even when you think nobody understands your “technical difficulties” you can be sure that there is One who does understand…and He is patiently waiting for you to seek His counsel and advice.
All you need to do is ask!!
