First, this Sunday (December 13) is our annual Holiday Dinner after our morning worship service. The menu is pot luck, but the fellowship is out of this world. Plan on staying after services Sunday.
Also this Sunday, following the evening services, will be the annual gift exchange at the Hatfield’s. The gifts are “white elephant” in nature...so if you don’t like fruit cake and someone gave you a fruit cake last year and you’ve been using it as a door stop, this might be a perfect chance to get rid of it!
Then on Saturday, December 19 my family will be hosting our annual Christmas Open House. This is a come-and-go affair from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. There will be lots of delightful delicacies and plenty of fantastic fellowship: you don’t want to miss it!
Following evening services on December 20 will be our card signing for January. We moved it up a week so that it, hopefully, interferes less with Christmas travels.
On Wednesday, December 23, we will be having a special devotional. Men, if you’d like to help lead that devotional, please see me ASAP.
The following Wednesday, December 30 will be our monthly singing. This is always a great time of fellowship as we gather to sing praises to God.
Then, on December 31, everyone is encouraged to bring food, board games, etc. to the fellowship room at 7:00 for some great New Year’s Eve fun and fellowship.
Whew! It’s going to be a busy few weeks...be sure to take advantage of as many of these fellowship opportunities as you can!
